“Sintered spinel” is MgO/Al2O3 spinel. It has a uniform and dense structure because it is made by mixing carefully selected raw materials using a wet method, then molding and sintering. It is a product with excellent volume stability, with high chemical stability and resistance to erosion by both alkali and acid.
Applications
- Shaped refractories
- Monolithic refractories
- Refractory linings for
molten steel ladles - Cathode material
firing saggers - Setters, firing jigs
- Fillers
Sintered Spinel NSP-70
A general-purpose spinel with a composition close to the theoretical one. Compared to alumina, it has low reactivity against bases (high CaO/SiO2 slag, positive electrode materials, etc.) and high corrosion resistance.
Features
- High chemical stability.
- High resistance to both alkali and acid attack

Sintered Spinel NSP-90
This spinel has a higher alumina value and a higher specific gravity than NSP-70. Compared to spinel with the theoretical composition, it has higher strength and toughness at high temperatures.
Features
- High chemical stability
- High strength and toughness at high temperatures
